Want your child to apply for an opportunity to participate in a MCPS magnet program?Now it's going to cost you. At Montgomery Blair High School the fee to apply for the magnet program is $40. The Blair website says the $40 is to cover "administrative costs". But isn't that what our taxes cover, the "administration" of the public school system?
When did the MCPS Board of Education approve the implementation of an application fee for these public school programs?
So if your child isn't accepted for the magnet program, do you get your $40 refunded?
