  1. Poinciana's student advisory council approved the tower in April 2011.

The news article you linked to is very low quality reporting. Almost all crucial details are vague and appear to be misleading. (E.g., how many parents? After all is said and done, the answer may be 2.)

    1. They did! Wow! And WHO are they?

Hysterical. Group hand picked by the principal.

      School Advisory Council (SAC)
Poinciana's School Advisory Council is formed according to state and county guidelines based on the Accountability Legislation of 1991. The members of the Council work with parents, community members, students, and staff to implement our School Improvement Plan. Parents interested in becoming a School Advisory Council member are requested to call the principal for more information.

    2. Alan, SAC did not approve it. We have the minutes from that meeting. SAC was told by the principal that the cell tower was going up. There are 210 signatures currently on a petition demanding ng that the cell tower come down. The parents and local community are in agreement that it must go. The quality of the reporting on this issue by the Naples Daily News is excellent.
