Durso: "I think we could be in the position of accomplishing things"

Could? What's holding him back now?

School board member Michael Durso said he sees Montgomery County Public Schools facing a variety of complex issues — and he wants to keep working on them.
“I see there’s a fair amount of unfinished work out there,” Durso said. “I like to be part of what’s going on and solving the problems and not just stating the problems.”

  1. Here's something that's incomplete, Mr. Durso: you haven't done anything to "make it right" for the students that were financially exploited at Rock Terrace School. Shame on Mr. Durso for suggesting at a committee meeting in September that some of the students took the money home. The money in those credit union accounts was stolen from them, plain and simple. What, now, is the Board of Education going to do about it?
