  1. EVERYTHING is data-mined these days. It doesn't make it right, but don't be surprised when it happens. Remember, when a service is free (like gmail, facebook, etc.), YOU are the product.

  2. Given that next school year there will be 40,000 new laptops in MCPS in the hands of students (at a cost of $15 million), this should be a HUGE concern. Would like to see Parents' Coalition dig into this new initiative more deeply, because I'm not getting answers where and when I ask as a parent.
