  1. He'll probably claim entrapment for his defense.

  2. I know the BOE and folks at the Carver Building frequent the Parents' Coalition blog... I would pay to see the expressions on their faces, when they see stuff like this!

  3. I can see that the bird says but can't read what the bug on the right says - can anyone tell me what that is?

    1. You have to go on the Sentinel's web site an see the original jpg file to zoom in enough to see what the bug says. The bug is saying, "Starr could apply for another superintendent position in some other state, but not if Arne Duncan has anything to say about it." - Ouch!

    2. How is it that Starr made an enemy like U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan? What did (or didn't) star do? What's the story behind Arne Duncan stopping Starr's appointment to Chancellor of New York City Schools?

    3. He wrote against standardized testing, which is one of Arne Duncan's pet platforms. Had he actually gone a step further and provided even the appearance of support to the MCPS families who refused the MSA last year even after he wrote specifically against that test, he'd have a few more parent cheerleaders here, but our family was one that got thrown under the testing bus.

  4. An amazingly prophetic cartoon!!!
