32 Years of Kids in Classroom Trailers @mcps

One of the huge problems with "planning" in Montgomery County is that our local government officials and administrators don't actually do any. "Planning" discussions often revolve around rumor, gossip and maybe even a dart board.

MCPS Classroom Trailer
Today, let's put out a fact.
Montgomery County Public Schools has been using classroom trailers as their solution for bad planning for over 32 years.

Classroom trailers aren't new and they aren't the result of recent enrollment or curriculum changes.

The Montgomery County Board of Education has consistently failed to plan for children to attend public school inside brick and mortar buildings for over 32 years.

Why would our officials leave children in trailers for 32 years?  One reason is that classroom trailers make excellent backdrops for press conferences crying for "more money."
