Breaking News: Campaign Contributions Do The Trick! Up Goes the Cell Towers in PG #milestone #rushernbaker #campaigncontributions

Who said our kids weren't for sale?

This is Maryland.  Here's how we roll.

Charles Herbert Flowers High School
Maryland Association of Boards of Education (MABE) partner gives $5,000 to Prince George's Referendum supported by County Executive Rushern Baker and UP goes the cell towers.
"Milestone Tower Limited Partnership, a company owned by Leonard Forkas, who is working on plans to install cellphone towers on county school buildings, donated $5,000."

Parents at this school and neighbors of this property were OPPOSED to a cell tower on the football field at this school, but who cares about parents and neighbors?

  1. And, this cell tower will immediately violate the Prince George's County Zoning Ordinance. But who the bleep cares about that?

  2. Fogettaboutit! When deals are made zoning variances are voted for by the bullies at large.(town council, etc Short of lawyers the best way to advocate is by keep the issues fresh and out front.

    1. No variance. They just aren't going to follow the law. Simple. We met directly with County Executive Rushern Baker on this. He knows the Zoning Ordinance is being ignored.

Don't imagine that there was an sort of "process" to skirt the law. Law is just being flat out ignored. Tower goes up. Forget about it, is right!
