These cell towers will surround your homes, schools and parks.
Nancy Floreen wants to change County zoning laws to ELIMINATE the public's ability to contest these cell tower installations and has proposed a change to zoning laws to exempt these cell towers from the current public review process. Floreen's proposal will be discussed on Monday, September 12th and then the Council's Committee will vote on whether or not to support her zoning change.
The location of these 140 cell towers has been known by Montgomery County for 5 months. However, the County has been withholding this information until today.
Below are the 3 maps that were released today showing the proposed locations for these cell towers. However, we have added WHITE DOTS to each location to make them easier to see and identify.
The Council did not provide a list of the actual addresses for each of these proposed cell towers, even though they have that actual list. The Council would prefer for residents to attempt to make out these locations on a blurry, dark map.
Please note that these cell towers are coming to all Montgomery County neighborhoods and Nancy Floreen's zoning change is Countywide and impacts all neighborhoods going forward.
