In August 2013, Lawrence Joynes, then 54, was accused of placing at least 14 young girls in sexually suggestive poses while creating video recordings of them. The abuse occurred in Joynes' music classroom at New Hampshire Estates Elementary in Silver Spring. Joynes turned the video clips into "soft porn" with sexually explicit captions to boot. In August 2015, a judge sentenced Joynes to 40 years in prison...
