ABC7: MCPS considering controversial student transport option

  2. At Richard Montgomery HS, the solution was the same as the woman in this clip recommended: build the new school onsite while the children are in the old school. At Walter Johnson HS, the solution was to add on to the schools and renovate existing while the children were in the building. This was probably a logistical nightmare but was handled well by parents, children, and WJ administration. The children were housed in a 'portable city' onsite while construction was underway.

    So, these are two reasonable solutions that have worked. There is no need to bus these children across the county during rush hour.
