Elementary Schools are now 740 students

"The county school system may decide to build the new school at maximum capacity, 740 students. Bruce Crispell, director of long-range planning, said school officials recently increased the maximum from 670 because of recent, robust growth."

When did your elected representatives on the Montgomery County Board of Education vote to raise the desired size of elementary schools from 500 to 640, and then to 740 students?

They didn't.

The Board of Education just let MCPS administrators decide what the capacity of neighborhood elementary schools school be without any opportunity for public input or comment

Isn't this a major planning decision that will have significant impact on neighborhoods? Shouldn't the public have a say in what neighborhood elementary schools look like?
