Board Admits Open Meetings Act Violation in BCC#2 Site Selection

Below is the response that the Board of Education filed with the Open Meetings Act Compliance Board, in response to the Complaint filed by the Rock Creek Hills Citizens' Association regarding the selection of their local park as the site of B-CC Middle School #2


On page 5 of the response the Board of Education states:

Only one of the six issues has any merit...

Right there, the Board of Education admits that one of the Open Meetings Act violations listed in this complaint has merit!


And on page 6 the Board admits...

...These [Open Meetings Act] procedures were not in place when the 

SSAC [Site Selection Advisory Committee] for the B-CC middle school met

 on December 14, 2010, and January 25, 2011...
