Farquhar MS Land Swap Meeting: Jan. 3, 2012

The property is not being sold to MNCPPC, but instead will be dedicated, at some point in the future, to MNCPPC. It is Rural Open Space from an RNC Subdivision and is supposed to be protected, in perpetuity, by a signed and recorded covenant even when it is is dedicated to a public entity.
So much for rules and regulations. As Mel Brook's once eloquently put it "It's good to be the king!".
This memo strongly implies that the M-NCPPC has a ratified contract to purchase the "future adjacent parkland" from its current owner, Pulte Homes.
