State Legislators Finally Notice that State Board of Ed Sits on Appeal Decisions

    1. Turning over Artificial turf stadium to private club appeal was 1 year.
      Jerry Weast putting cell phone towers on public school land appeal was 10 months, then Opinion issued with error.
      But, appeal of selling Pearson curriculum? 2 months and a smack down of MCPS!
      Obviously, when they want to say something on a topic they can and do jump on it.
      When "they" want to let an issue ride and ignore what is going forward, they do that too.
      Courts have set time periods where decisions are expected to be rendered. No time limit on the State Board of Education. In fact, no legislation that says they ever have to render a decision.
