Maryland Tax Free Week -- Aug 12-18 -- Virginia: This weekend!

Reminder that the State of Maryland's annual Tax Free Week is coming up -- August 12th - 18th.  The tax free applies to clothing and footware priced at $100 or less.  Maryland's state tax is 6% so you will be saving 6% if you purchase during Tax Free Week.

Virginia's Tax Free days are right now, August 3th - 5th.  Tax free are clothing and shoes under $100, and school supplies under $20. Virginia's state sales tax is 5%. For more on Virginia guidelines, go here.
