On first vote, Barclay and Kauffman are unanimously elected as BOE officers

It must have been a miracle, on the first vote for Board of Education President today Christopher Barclay was elected as the next President.  

That was followed by another miraculous vote where the entire Board of Education voted for Phil Kauffman as the next Vice-President on the first ballot.

Each BOE member gets one vote, all names are said to be under consideration.  The names of the BOE member and their vote are read out loud.  

Does anyone think the outcome wasn't already decided before the BOE members sat down at the public table today?
