Parents Protest Pearson-MCPS Curriculum

This message is forwarded from Concerned Parents who started the petition "No Time To Waste," which you can see and read (and sign) on Change.org.
This e-mail is intended to inform the community on concerns related to the controversial curriculum (Curriculum 2.0) change.

All - The Washington Post Metro Section ran a front page article about mounting concern with Curriculum 2.0's math curriculum.

Parents from all corners of Montgomery County are organizing and speaking out against the new "one-size-fits-all" approach.
If you have any concerns at all, please show show your support at the next Board of Education Meeting
Tuesday December 11, 2012 at 10:00 am (public comment period runs from 10:30 to 11:00 am).
We are presenting the petition to the Board at this meeting and pressing our case for reform.

Thank you to everyone who has helped get us this far!
