Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett, Police Chief Tom Manger and State’s Attorney John McCarthy will participate in National Night Out activities at locations around the County (see itinerary below). The annual event, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), is designed to enhance crime prevention awareness and activities in neighborhoods. Residents are encouraged to spend time getting to know their neighbors and building community spirit. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of National Night Out observances. Itinerary 5:00 p.m. Olney community, Fair Hill Shopping Center (formerly known as Olney Town Center), 18100 Town Center Dr., Olney 6:00 p.m. Walnut Hill community, Washington Grove Elementary School, 8712 Oakmont Street, Gaithersburg 6:40 p.m. Saybrooke community, near the pool, 702 Saybrooke Oaks Blvd., Gaithersburg 7:30 p.m. Northwood/S. Four Corners communities, Dallas Avenue Neighborhood Park, 900 Forest Glen Rd., Silver Spring 8:00 p.m. Rosemary Hills/Lyttonsville communities, Gwendolyn E.
