Parents' Coalition was told directly by County Staff that participants were spending their own money and using leave time for this trip. We were told the only people whose trip was being paid for with taxpayer dollars were Steve Silverman, and Lily Qi, and that was only for travel expenses, approximately $6k total. Of course, the Board of Education has different rules.
