WTOP: Councilmember Rice on Joshua Starr "...don't have enough...knowledge...to evaluate whether or not he would be a candidate worthy of staying or not"

WTOP's Kate Ryan asks Council President and Education Committee Chair Craig Rice, "In terms of leadership do you want to see Superintendent Starr stay on as superintendent and do you get the feeling that the Board will ask him to stay on when the time comes?"

  1. Sounds like Councilmember Rice does not have a lot of confidence in Dr. Starr.

  2. His constituents have even less confidence in Rice.

  3. At this point if Starr was doing an effective job the question wouldn't need to be asked. The man has been a complete disaster for MCPS and indeed Montgomery County. His entire staff is below par.
