  1. What can parents do to implement a type of Clery disclosure act (which colleges have)? I understand from a parent that the school successfully conducted a lockdown after a student brought a gun to school, wished his classmates good-by, and shot himself. The funeral took place in Aspen Hill one week later on that snowy Tuesday Feb 17, 2015.

    3. Ill never forget Elvis. He had a little sister named Mia, and she was a rlly good friend of mine. At the time, we were in 2nd grade. Mia didn't go to school for 3 weeks. He actually hung himself, in the bathroom. Dont tell me my facts are incorrect, b/c I was there for Mia every step of the way. She told me the whole story. He was actually being bullied at school, and killed himself. Man me and Mia cried. I didnt rlly know him, since he left KMES after 5th grade, and I was in kindergarten so... yea.. but I cried for Mia, I couldn't imagine losing a sibling. Rn, we are both 12 years old, and its been 5, 6 years since his death. I cried so much. In fact, I still talk with Mia today. If you have any questions, you can ask. :/

  2. I understand that this would need to be re-formulated to protect privacy rights for those students who are under 18 years of age:

  3. In the interest of accuracy, please note that the student hung himself, according to information that the parents' coalition received from police officers at the scene of the incident.

    1. Was there a even lockdown? It's possible that the parent's information and the information you received are both correct. I'll defer to what you heard, which has a written source.
