What a profound statement coming from the pillars of our community: "Supervised release in the community with a suspended sentence hanging over the person’s head is, in the state's opinion, the best treatment option.”
Oh, right. Protecting children is never the goal. How silly to think that doing the right thing for child victim's would ever be the mission of our police and state's attorney!
It doesn't matter what the mission is,a liberal judge who lives in a gated area often makes the final decision. We need someone like the criminal court equivalent of Judge Judy to decide a few of these cases and this garbage would go away quickly.
Well the facts said ‘yes’ But the judge said ‘no’ You can skip the jail But do not repeat it He couldn’t understand And he told them so You go straight home And don’t let me stand But don’t do it no more.
