Maryland House OKs bill limiting school testing

The Maryland House of Delegates approved a bill Tuesday that would limit the amount of time school districts can spend on testing.
The Less Testing, More Learning Act sailed through with minimal debate on a 139-0 vote....

    1. Anon, the testing referred to here is Standardized Testing, like PARCC and MAP (including MAP-P (Primary), MAP-R (reading), and MAP-M (math)). teacher-developed tests are not part of this bill, unless you've found language that I missed.

  2. Anonymous - did you read the article? It clearly indicates "Tests and quizzes developed by individual teachers are not included in the 2 percent cap."
