He is getting paid because he is doing exactly what the Board of Ed wants him to do: take the heat and hide them. Weast knew that was his job and that's why he lasted so long. Starr, not so much. He actually was stupid enough to think the Board of Education wanted to take credit/blame for the school system. Now the Board can go back under their cloak of invisibility.
I guess we pay our superintendent by weight here in Montgomery County not by accomplishments.
