The root causes of suicide are many and disparate. No single cause can reliably be identified as *the* cause of suicide. Addressing those causes is not always within the school's or anybody else's control.
Our family has been saddened by both the number of suicides and accidental deaths of MCPS students recently. Is there a handy source of information out there to understand how this compares to prior years?
We, as a community, cannot find solutions if we don't have any data to examine!
Shouldn't they be looking at the root cause?
