MCPS Fools Public with Maintenance Document #ArtificialTurf

The Parents' Coalition did a Maryland Public Information Office request for contracts and documents related to MCPS' purchases with Field Turf.  The results of our request were made public at this link.  

These documents showed that MCPS did not actually have any contracts with Field Turf.

Yet, if you take a look at the MCPS website, the Superintendent would have parents and guardians believe that MCPS has a Maintenance Plan for each artificial turf field that costs MCPS $10,000 per field annually.

The Board of Education currently has 6 artificial turf fields in use.  

6 x $10,000 = $60,000

The documents we obtained from MCPS show that the Superintendent isn't spending even half of that amount of money on annual maintenance of the 6 artificial turf fields. 

Why has the Superintendent put up a document that purports to show MCPS spending $60,000 a year on artificial turf maintenance when the actual amount of spending on artificial turf maintenance is far, far less than that?
