"These charges are deeply troubling and are a violation of the core values of our school and school system," the letter reads. "We hold our employees to a high standard of character and this behavior is completely unacceptable." However, credit goes solely to the Metropolitan Police Department for bringing him to justice.

ReplyDeleteAssistant U.S. Attorney Caroline Burrell told D.C. Superior Court Judge Maribeth Raffinan that, if the case went to trial, she would be able to prove that Shipley had oral sex with an 18-year-old student who graduated in 2018. Burrell also said she could prove Shipley had sex with a student who graduated in 2013. At the time, she was 17 and he was 39.
Despite being an election year, the SAO maintains absolute silence.
