ROCKVILLE, Md. (7News) — The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) and Towson University (TU) have launched a program to address the ongoing teacher shortages in Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), according to a statement released Sunday.
TU will offer a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education, a Dual Certification Program, for paraprofessionals currently employed by MCPS, according to the statement. USG plans on paying the tuition costs not covered by the MCPS tuition contribution...
