Weast spent $509,135 on roof for Monocacy ES

In a previous posting the amount of tax dollars spent on the Monocacy Elementary School roof this summer was quoted according to what was reported in a State of Maryland document. However, that was only the State contribution to the new roof at Monocacy Elementary. 

From Board of Education minutes (see page 14) we learn that the total cost of the new roof at Monocacy Elementary School this summer was $509,135.

And now Superintendent Weast wants to close the school.  What kind of "long range" planning is that?
