The Maryland Open Meetings Act Compliance Board has set up an Online Course for members of the public and elected officials to learn about the Maryland Open Meetings Act.
If you pass the course, they issue you a certificate!
Send us your completed certificate and we will post them on this blog.

The new Open Meeting Act on line training course should be mandated for members of public bodies, including members of Board of Education. Please find time to contract your lawmakers to make this course a requirement under the Open Meeting Act, along with a refresher course whenever the Act is amended.
ReplyDeleteIf the Open Meetings Act is enhanced to mandate the training course for members of public bodies, the completed certificate for each member of the Board of Ed would become public record.
