I always want details when I see numbers like this. Are all these systems calculating the number the same way. Does MCPS include legal bills used to fight families on special education. My child has an IEP, but they no longer pull him out of class for special ed. Is he included in the denominator even though I don't really see anything special being done except that he can sit in the front of the class.
for a more complete perspective, it would be interesting to see how those numbers compare to what is spent on a "regular" student.
