MDDC Press Association is working with a broad coalition of groups to reform the Maryland Public Information Act (PIA). This group, known as Marylanders for Open Government (MDOG), is led by Common Cause. They are working with lawmakers to propose a bill during the 2015 session that would improve oversight, standardize fees & remove exemptions from the PIA.
