New questions are being raised about the safety of the artificial turf
used at some schools, particularly Walter Johnson High School in
Bethesda. Montgomery County Public Schools installed the artificial turf
in April 2010 and the synthetic grass has shed, reducing thick green
blades to a short stubble. [WJLA]
