The coalition might be the best-known parent advocacy group in the region. Its members represent several constituencies, including parents of special education and gifted education students and fiscal watchdogs. The group's defining victory came this school year when the school system scaled back the fees charged to families for course materials.
Coalition leaders have drawn attention to the misuse of funds collected from students for activities, the broadcast of a commercial radio service on school buses and, with their "Weast Watch" blog, the travel habits of Weast and his lieutenants.

There is much evidence of non thermal biological effects from the radiofrequency radiation (RFR) from cell tower transmitters. Children are more susceptible than adults. While it is unlikely that RFR directly causes cancer there is evidence that it allows the conditions for cancer to form and grow in our bodies. Exposure has been shown to lower melatonin levels and to interfere with the recombining of DNA strands leading to higher levels of double breaks in the DNA.
ReplyDeleteLos Angeles Unified School District has banned antennas from school property. Palm Beach has as well. We do not need a cancer cluster amongst our brightest hopes for the future.
