...Please, ELIMINATE unnecessary IT spending. Do NOT spend 150 million dollars on technology modernization. Use this money for Capital Maintenance Projects. Basic IT investments, like fixing the network printer at Pine Crest ES, are important, but NO MORE PROMETHEAN BOARDS. Promethean boards seem to propagate like rabbits over the summer, and we only find out about their installation at our child’s classroom on Open House night.
Stop this extravagant purchase so we can stick to the basics of keeping our buildings and our children healthy and safe.Blair Cluster Testimony CIP Nov 10 2011
