Stamford board to make some scandal info public

STAMFORD -- The city school board voted to relinquish its shield of attorney-client confidentiality for all information regarding an investigation into a sexual relationship between a Stamford High School English teacher and her student, and those who may have failed to report it to authorities.
In an unprecedented move, the board voted unanimously in open session Thursday to release its lawyer from adhering to strict attorney-client rules regarding privileged communications and documents regarding the scandal and its fallout.
