Can someone point out which tiers have the cost savings from: doing away with providing healthcare and other benefits to the crossing guards for their 2 hours of work per day; eliminating the fleet of trucks and labor for MCPS trucks to deliver food throughout the school system (perhaps outsource to Sysco or a similar business as restaurants do); offloading the school lunch FARMs program to an actual social service organization that will likely have more efficiencies than MCPS serving lunch at some schools while actually being closed for classes; and the focusing on education and teaching instead of lofty objectives to change that which is out of our school system's control (and business) - the so called achievement gap; and let's stop this nonsense of dual language on the web site etc. This results in American born kids whose English skills are only slightly better than their Parents.
