During a March 5, Parent Teacher Association meeting for Viers Mill Elementary School earlier this month, minutes recorded show families learned that the school would not maintain its Title I status. So they've decided to react.
Friday morning, students and adults at the elementary school staged a walkout on an on-campus field, holding signs in hopes of bringing the program back.
