Do your homework about financial guidelines in MCPS. The funds used to purchase supplies could not be used for conference registration fees. Most pay out of pocket or through a union benefit. What's wrong with professional development for administrators anyway?

And do explain why you think that money from taxpayers has labels on it that say what it can be used for. MCPS is given billions of dollars and how it is spent is up to the Board of Education. Money for travel can easily be moved to money for supplies. The guidelines only apply AFTER the money is divided up. The dividing up is a CHOICE.
