The Parents' Coalition has obtained an internal memorandum from Superintendent Joshua Starr to the Board of Education showing that the Board of Education was informed on March 29, 2012 of problems in the lottery process for the new MCPS charter school.
Also note, that in the e-mail attached to this memorandum we learn that the announced date for the lottery was not used. The public was told the lottery would be on a Friday and the actual lottery was on the next Monday making it impossible for the public to observe the lottery for this public charter school. Remember, this charter school is being funded with your tax dollars.
