Parents continue fight to stop cell phone tower

BOWIE – Parents and residents are still fighting the construction of a cell phone tower on Benjamin Tasker Middle School land, expressing concerns about adverse health effects and a lack of policy transparency...
...[Bowie] Councilmember Diane Polangin said the construction of more cell phone towers is practical. “Everybody wants to be connected,” she said. “People don’t want their calls dropped. Dear Lord, even elementary school kids have cell phones.”Polangin said the location of the towers does not really matter. “You don’t really notice them,” she said...

  1. Montgomery County's future, if Duncan gets elected.

  2. Aha! So, what you don't know can't hurt you!

  3. The Department of the Interior has just come out stating that birds are at risk from the radiation from these towers. They say our government standards are outdated and not protective.
Is it HUBRIS that we cannot think our children's brains might not be impacted?
    Hubris- look it up.

If it is dangerous for birds, we should take a look at all these doctors saying to minimize kids use.. and wifi routers and so on. Why are they saying this?

  4. No need to get upset, elections are coming up. Be proactive, find out where each candidate stands on the issue, then make the right choices at the voting both.

    1. How are you going to find out? Have you found any candidates that will answer this question????

    2. You're right, candidates tell us what we want to hear and do what they want. We reside in a mushroom farm.
