My Two Cents: Growing A More Diverse Teaching Corps In MCPS

 A recent Montgomery County Council report points out that the Montgomery County Public Schools teacher corps is not diverse enough when compared to the school system’s student body.

  1. Just as interesting would be making public the diversity of the education of the teachers. Which colleges did they attend? Did they really attend the best teaching schools in the nation? How many graduated, for ex., from the fabled Bank Street College of Education in NY?
