Dear Paint Branch HS Community,
We
are committed to maintaining a safe, secure learning environment for
our students and staff every day. It is for that reason that I am
writing to inform you that on Friday
night a student athlete reported that inappropriate comments were made
by a referee after our football game. The referee is contracted through
the Washington District Football Officials Association. This incident
has been reported to the police, Child Protective Services, and the
official's commissioner. This official will no longer be allowed to
officiate sporting events at Paint Branch High School and any other Montgomery County public school.
We have had no other reports of similar incidents on Friday evening. However, if you are aware of any other similar incidents, please notify the Montgomery County Police Department or the school administration immediately.
As
