Well we know that! They leave teachers in classrooms that aren't allowed to TOUCH students! We KNOW MCPS and the Board of Education are not protecting students! The Board of Education has let the Child Abuse Policy go 26 YEARS without updating it! The law has changed many times, the Board of Education hasn't changed the Policy and uses this 26 year old, out of date Policy to TRAIN incoming teachers!
No question that the safety of students has zero priority for the Board of Education!
Make sure to vote back in all the apple candidates to continue this travesty!
If you believe that students should be protected from sexual abuse of adults, then you should vote against all of the incumbents. It's time for a change!
". . .They leave teachers in classrooms that aren't allowed to TOUCH students!" But, it says nothing about touching them in the hallway. So the incumbents use that to get them off the hook on a legal technicality!
What a brave and articulate young lady! And how typical of MCPS to deny that there is, or ever was a problem. Just like the problem of heroin addiction that has been growing, unchecked, for the same reason. Denial of existence!
MCPS has never spoken about the teacher that locked a child in her closet at Baker Middle School last year. The teacher is still teaching there!! Way to go administration!! Time for the principal to go!!
When the victim was asked to keep quiet, what was the principal's concerned? Obviously not the student. That makes me question her as the leader of the school. It is time for a change!
Caught on camera, but not enough evidence!
ReplyDeleteWho said not enough evidence? That's not a true statement. There has been an arrest in this matter. Arrests come with evidence.
DeleteNot enough evidence for MCPS.

ReplyDeleteApparently MCPS abides to the 'silence is golden' philosophy.
