, , , and no one is in the MCPS offices at Carver to respond to requests for information.
How do we know that?
This weekend, one of our bloggers filed a request under the Maryland Public Information Act, and the response was returned as "Undeliverable."
The blogger checked the MCPS website - and sure enough, she had used the proper address.
Does this mean that without a real superintendent in charge, MCPS systems go unanswered?
What is up at MCPS? Is anyone home?
And, more importantly, will anyone be able to get a timely response from the Board of Education Offices while school is out of session?
The error message indicates the message was too large and the header information says the attachment is 25.9kb. I doubt the size limitation has anything to do with it being summer. I also don't think email size limits are all that unusual - that's a primary reason why people use DropBox and similar services.

6 sentences is too large? What kind of e-mail system does MCPS use?
DeleteParents' Coalition = 😂
ReplyDeleteMs. Huh's term as SMOB was thru 7/1/15. Does she still have an MCPS email address? And do other former BOE members?
ReplyDeleteApparently. The message says it wasn't delivered because of "security policies." It's really easy to put a return message on an account that says it is no longer active. Anyone can do that. It's really easy.
DeleteThe error message means that the email address once existed in the system. And no, BOE members don't get to keep their emails after their terms.
DeleteDo you have a problem programming a simple reply message? If so, there are many parents that could help you out on this.
DeleteThey should adopt stenography.
