MCPS web site shut down due to "technical difficulties"
Due to unspecified "technical difficulties", the public MCPS web site has been almost entirely shut down since Thursday evening. An estimated time for reactivation has not been announced.
MCPS received the draft version of the audit several months before it was released to the public. Surely they would have corrected the security problems before the report was made public, don't you think?
No that's not it... MCPS just had to fake a major IT problem, so they could purge all emails between teachers, administrators and parents... that way there's no "discovery" possible for court cases.
The revenge of the nerds?
ReplyDeleteBad leadership.
ReplyDeletestill down after 48 hours
ReplyDeleteOr may be someone hacked it because the MCPS network was not properly protected as reported by the MD OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE AUDITS?

DeleteThe devil is in the details.

ReplyDeleteIn that case, let's hope that they know the difference between 'delete' and 'erase.'
