Jack Smith Calls Emergency Meeting to Put Cell Tower on TOP of School

Superintendent Jack R. Smith really, really, really wants a cell tower on TOP of Northwest High School. Remember that he already sent the project to the Tower Committee for approval without telling the PTSA or neighbors.  That action was in direct violation of MCPS policies and procedures.

Superintendent Smith was caught violating his own procedures.  What to do?
Call an emergency summer meeting and only give parents and neighbors 6 days notice.

PTSA's do not meet in the summer, parents and neighbors are on vacation or otherwise occupied, it is a great time to hold a meeting that no one can attend!

Why exactly is Superintendent Smith so beholden to cell tower vendors that he would only give parents and neighbors 6 days notice of a meeting?  If anyone can answer that question, please let us know.
