Sixty (60) Montgomery County Boards & Commissions Accused of Violating MD Open Meetings Act

According to an internal source, the Montgomery County Office of the County Attorney is currently in the process of preparing their response to a complaint that was filed with the Maryland Attorney General’s Open Meetings Compliance Board in early March. The complaint alleges violations of the Maryland Open Meetings Act by 60 different county boards and commissions.

  1. Wow. Someone has been busy. Kudos to the people filing these complaints. We should have an open, transparent county government. But we don't.
