Parents question delay in probe of alleged molestation of child on PG school bus

The parents of a preschool student in Prince George’s County said Tuesday that county officials recently informed them of an investigation into allegations that a bus aide molested their 4-year-old son last November, and they said they don’t understand why it took so long to look into the alleged abuse.
Child Protective Services contacted the family last month, seeking help in identifying a boy believed to be their son in a still image from a video that apparently was made in November. The parents said CPS officials told them the video showed a bus aide having inappropriate contact with the child inside a school bus...

The current Superintendent and Chief of Staff in Prince George's County were formerly Montgomery County Public Schools administrators.

George Margolies spent 11 years working for the MCPS Board of Education and is now the Chief of Staff for the Superintendent,  and Kevin Maxwell spent 6 years as a principal and Community Superintendent and is now the Superintendent of Prince George's County Public Schools.

MCPS Admins in Prince George's Public Schools Top Positions

George Margolies named chief of staff for Prince George’s schools
Before going to Anne Arundel, Margolies worked for 11 years as the staff director of the Board of Education in Montgomery County, where he and Maxwell met. Maxwell served four years as the principal of Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda before being named a community superintendent in Montgomery. He became the superintendent in Anne Arundel in 2006.
