...Unlike other selective magnet program, the VAC takes kids in sophomore, junior or even senior year who suddenly yearn for intensive art instruction. Unlike other selective magnet programs, the VAC has no transportation funding and no administrative funding, just two teachers who teach their hearts out while also serving as guidance counselors as they prepare portfolios and help students apply for scholarships, colleges, and competitions.
